Abstract

Damien Freeman is currently a Temporary Lecturer at Pembroke College, Cambridge, having completed his PhD thesis at Magdalene College, Cambridge last year. His doctoral work was concerned with the emotional experience of art, and his research interests are primarily in aesthetics and the philosophy of art, as well as theory of emotion and the irrational. He has also published in a disparate range of other areas including public law and biography. AESTHETICS
