Abstract

Summary. The article focuses on the methodology of teaching the adverb in the study of morphology in secondary schools and university with the use of new technologies and recommendations for their application in practice. The latest technologies are described: 1) e-learning (adaptation method), use of ELF platform (templates for exercises and tests; online courses, chat questions / answers, etc.); 2) mixed type of teaching: mastering part of the material directly at lectures, and part – through independent e-learning and interactive asynchronous interaction between student / teacher, student / teacher; 3) MOOC: Massive Open Online Course – Massive open online courses for high school and university students. It is found that the most important tasks of the morphology course for schoolchildren and foreign students are to correctly recognize the parts of languages and understand their role in the sentence; ability to use the possibilities of word-forming and word-altering elements; distinguishing the stylistic functions of tokens. The article proposes exercises aimed at developing the synonymy and homonymy of adverbs, highlighting the levels of this part of the language, which helps to better learn new words and expand the vocabulary of pupils and students. It is proved that in-depth study of the adverb, its functions and role in the sentence influences understanding of the lexico-semantic versatility of the Ukrainian language, encourages pupils and students to correctly syntactise the words, expand their vocabulary and ability to use the language.
