Abstract
This article discusses the advantages of a management audit and how it assists top management by: providing an evaluation of the management planning and control systems in use in the organization; stimulating a higher degree of efficiency within the organization; uncovering deficiencies in the organization; demonstrating the need for long range improvement programs; and, providing an almost first‐hand account of activity on all organizational levels.
