Abstract
Scientific article is devoted to the study of advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency development in the world financial market. The urgency of the study is due to the high market capitalization of the cryptocurrency, which makes it a component of the financial arena of international scale. The article analyzes the dynamics of the cryptocurrency market development, its problems and benefits for states. The result of the study is the conclusion that cryptocurrencies have a greater number of different problems that hinder their development, their solution can be the regulatory framework for their regulation
