Abstract

RAD-AID International, a nonprofit in official relations with the World Health Organization, works to advance women's health in India through a mobile imaging program called Asha Jyoti and provides cervical, breast, and osteoporosis screenings for women with little or no access to radiology. This article discusses Asha Jyoti's recent expansion and the incorporation of a community health nursing education program to further support the growing demands and challenges faced in providing community health outreach in India.
