The evolution of medical information management (MIM) is a critical aspect of modern healthcare, reflecting significant technological and regulatory advancements. This article offers a comprehensive review of the development and transformation of MIM systems, from rudimentary paper-based records to sophisticated digital platforms. We explore the early adoption of electronic health records (EHR), the integration of big data analytics, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in enhancing healthcare delivery.
