Abstract In fused silica capillary, immobilized proteins (enzymes) have important applications in chiral separation, peptide mapping, drug screening, preconcentration and so on. In this article, we reviewed various methods for protein immobilization in capillary, including sol-gel method, physical adsorption, ion chelate adsorption, lipid-based protein immobilization and covalently bound.
