Abstract

Contactless identification systems are currently applied mainly in the industry and trade sectors. The main reasons for introducing these systems include the non-contact nature of the technology, which does not require direct visibility, precise positioning, high efficiency and speed of reading information to identify the object, and in combination with active chips, the use of additional identification process functionality. The article deals with the application of this technology to the railway Industry 4.0 concept.
