Abstract
Abstract Recent (2015) calculations of spider species richness in the boundaries of Russia and other former Soviet Union countries, as well as between physiographical regions of these territories, are provided in comparison with earlier data. By December 31st, 2015, 3,374 and 2,397 spider species have been reported from the FSU territories and Russia, respectively.
