Abstract
Plant transgenic technology is a new technical means that brings broad prospects for lowcost,large-scale production of recombinant proteins.This paper reviews a variety of plant-made protein expression technologies and research progress in plant-based vaccines for the treatment and prevention of autoimmune diseases,and autoantigen-inducing oral immune tolerance in particular.
