Abstract

As an epidermal substitute, epidermal cell sheet plays an important role in wound repair. It has been applied to large-area burn patients and achieved good results. A brief review of the research progress in the culture, clinical application and storage and freeze-drying of cultured epidermal cell sheet has been given, and its problems in clinical application has been analyzed in this article. With the development of tissue engineering, materials science and cell biology, cultured epidermal cell sheet will have better application prospects in wound repair.
