Abstract

Acinetobacter baumannii is a common nosocomial infection pathogen that can develop resistance to a variety of antibiotics.Colistin is a cationic peptide that can destroy the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria and cause death of the strain, and is one of the ideal choices for the treatment of Acinetobacter baumannii. The existing research reports that the clinical Baumania rodent strain is resistant to colistin, and the resistant strain is increasing. Therefore, although colistin still has a high cure rate for clinical Acinetobacter baumannii infection, the emergence of resistant strains needs to be highly valued, and the transmission of control resistant strains needs further study. Key words: Colistin; Acinetobacter baumannii; Resistance mechanism
