Abstract

Coronary stent thrombosis is a severe complication after coronary stent implantation and associated with acute onset and high mortality. In recent years, intravascular imaging like intravascular ultrasound and optical coherence tomography is developing rapidly and widely applied to clinical practice. In this review, we summarize applications of intravascular imaging techniques on preventing and researching mechanisms of stent thrombosis.
