Abstract

Metastasis in cervical carcinoma is regulated by many genes, including not only the overex-pression of oncngenes and tumor metastatic genes, but also the loss or inactivation of tumer-suppressor genes and tumer met-astasis suppressor genes. The regression of metastasis is a key factor in the management and/or treat-ment of cervi-cal carcinoma, due to the fact that the metastasis in cervical carcinoma is one of the strongest fac-tors in the mortalit-y and prognosis among these patients. Therefore, it is of importance to understand the gene regulation of cervical carcinoma metastasis. Key words: Cervical carcinoma; Metastasis; Tumor metastatic gene; Turner metastasis suppressor gene
