Abstract

Several disease pathologies can affect the aortic valve(AV) in children frequently necessitating intervention.Several developments in interventional cardiology and AV repair techniques demonstrated encouraging short-term and mid-term results in children with AV disease.Current evidence supports valvular repair is the goal of intervention in children with AV disease.When reconstruction fails or intervention failure, valve replacement becomes inevitable.The studies about AV replacement in children are not rare.This aim of article is to make a review of related researches in recent years.
