Abstract

Fungal infections, especially invasive fungal disease(IFD) is one of the major causes which incresae the mortality after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT). Several researches have confirmed that optimal antifungal prophylaxis can reduce the risks of proven or probable invasive fungal infections in allo-HSCT patients. However, the epidemiology characteristic of pathogen, as well as the immunity reconstruction in allo-HSCT patients should be taken into account when making decisions on the choice of prophylactic antifungal agents. This article reviews literatures on advances in antifungal prophylaxis after allo-HSCT. Key words: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantaion; Mycoses; Antifungal agents
