Abstract

Cancer remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide, with millions of new cases diagnosed annually. Over the past few decades, significant strides have been made in understanding the disease's molecular basis, leading to innovative treatment strategies that offer improved outcomes for many cancer types. This review highlights the most notable advancements in cancer treatment, focusing on immunotherapy, targeted therapies, personalized medicine, and emerging approaches such as nanotechnology and gene editing. These therapies promise not only to improve survival rates but also to reduce the side effects commonly associated with traditional cancer treatments.
