Abstract
Progress in the design of wideband radiating elements and wideband monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) have made possible the demonstration of high performance arrays operating over C, X, and Ku-band. The Advanced Shared Aperture Program (ASAP) has explored the development of wideband multifunction arrays capable of simultaneous and time interleaved radar, electronic warfare and communications functions. Two iterations of radiating element and T/R module design have been completed. The overall array concepts, and the current status of the design technology and performance are summarized in this paper.
