Advanced Security Analytics

Abstract

Companies, institutes have numerous employees and it is difficult to have the system which accurately detects people accessing entry to restricted areas in offices. Authentication systems like RFID, biometric attendance records people's attendance, enforcing that only assigned people get access to specific places. People can intrude into a restricted area by simply tailgating, also using biometric/RFID. These security breaches reduce the credibility of the company. Corporations which implemented RFID, biometric access systems to track employees are not proficient by themselves to identify the breach. Video Analytics and correlation with employee swipe information, RFID, biometrics are used to identify security breach. Video Analytics includes door-open close detection, advanced human detection, trajectory analysis, identifying person committing tailgating and suspicious movement tracking. This methodology was implemented and authenticated in organization's security system and the data driven results have identified security breaches which may affect the organization's policies and integrity.
