Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The benefits of Cryotop vitrification method has been assessed in oocytes from young healthy donors from our oocyte donation program. However, there is a lack of information of the general outcome when oocyte vitrification is carried out in infertile patients, where the maternal age is strictly related to the results obtained in an in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF/ET) program. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of maternal age on the survival and clinical outcome of vitrified oocyte within a population of IVF/ET patients.
