Abstract

In many cases, data generated by executing a simulation model are summarized and printed as part of each model run. As the objectives of simulation projects have become more ambitious and complex, creating summaries in only this way has been found to be unsatisfactory. Recently, software has been developed specifically to assist simulators in analyzing and presenting simulation results to meet their more complex objectives. These software tools are: 1. SDL TM, a database management system for storing and manipulating simulation results; 2. SIMCHART TM, an interactive graphics system for displaying simulation results; and 3. AID TM, a tool for fitting distribution functions to data, including simulation results.
