Abstract

Peripheral nerve blocks is one of the ways to provide analgesia after thoractomy. It appears to be more easily performed and has less side effects compared with other ways. Paravertebral nerve block, serratus anterior plane block, erector spinae plane block, retrolaminar block, and intercostal nerve block are most commonly used in clinic.
