Abstract

Processes of radioactive decontamination of water with application of an electrical discharge effect are investigated. It is shown that use of electrical discharge of the torch type considerably increases the efficiency of the adsorption decontamination of water. By the method of thermally stimulated relaxation, it is revealed that accumulation of surface and space charges takes place in adsorbents. The method of X-ray structural analysis is shown to be a tool allowing qualitative investigation of the processes in the adsorbent structure.
