Abstract
The adsorption of polyethoxylated monyl-phenol on macroreticular styrene divinylbenzene copolymers from aqueous solutions was investigated. Styrene divinylbenzene resins show a high adsorption affinity for non-ionic surfactants and prove to be very suitable as adsorbents for these. Addition of both electrolytes and methanol decreases the amount of surfactant adsorbed. The adsorption on a carboxylic acid resin increases with decreasing pH value
