Abstract
Recently, the technique of magnetic separation has been used to dispose water, especially the waste water of low concentration. The technique of magnetic separation is that we segregate different materials with the power of magnetic field. In this study, using chitosan — as raw materials, magnetic materials as the Cole, organically-linking technique was applied to produce magnetic microspheres. The study is mainly on the absorbent for Cr (VI) adsorption. The effect factors such as PH, the reaction time, the initial concentration and dosage temperature. The result is magnetic microspheres have enough adsorption properties for Cr (VI), and its maximum uptake capacity was 48.3245mg/g. The optimum reaction conditions were: pH is 5, the reaction time 4 hours, dosage 1.0g, initial concentration of Cr (VI) 10mg/L. The adsorption isotherms of these two adsorbents for Cr (VI) fitted Langmuir's and Freundlich's models. Freundlich's equation of imprinting chitosan: y=0.8217×−2.1036, R2=0.9863. The reaction kinetic of the adsorbent was in accordance with linear regression equation is y=0.2853×+0.5621.
