Abstract

A technique for adsorption-free measurements of radioactivity of flowing solutions has been developed. It consists in creating a free liquid jet centered in a vertical tube, whereby contact between the liquid phase and the internal wall of the tube is avoided. The technique has been used in connection with the AKUFVE-system for solvent extraction studies and showed good reliability.
