Abstract

We consider the use of adsorption and extraction as methods of preconcentration increasing the sensitivity and selectivity of the determination of elements and organic substances in solutions, in flow-through analytical systems. Various applications of these methods in flow-through systems are reviewed; the peculiarities of a combination of preconcentration and determination are discussed; and examples of hybrid assay systems are given.
