Abstract
<p indent=0mm>The methods and results studying the adsorption and diffusion of some important radionuclides in Beishan granites and Gaomiaozi bentonites performed in domestic institutions and universities for the geological disposal of high-level radioactive wastes are reviewed. This review covers the experimentally obtained data, the models used or constructed and the calculation procedures developed in the past two decades in this field, and the future investigations are also suggested.
