Abstract

Aims for this research are to analyze the adoption of combine harvester innovation in Subak in Tabanan Regency, Bali Province covering the diffusion process, the influencing factors and consequences of innovation adoption. The diffusion process and the consequences of innovation adoption will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. The diffusion and consequences of innovation were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The factors that influence the adoption of innovation will be analyzed using infrensial statistics, namely the PLS SEM model. The results of this study include the innovation diffusion process starting in 2009, which began with a combine harvester trial by the Tabanan Regency government. The combine harvester was received after a trial at Subak Bengkel in 2017. The variables that have a significant influence on innovation adoption consist of the innovation attribute variables and the type of decision. The adoption of innovations has a significant effect on the consequences of combine harvesters in Tabanan Regency. Combine harvester provides consequences such as speeding up the harvest process and reducing the average yield loss rate of only 1.5%. Suggestions from this study are farmers in Tabanan Regency use a combine harvester in the process of harvesting lowland rice.
