Abstract
In order to explore the application of Vanadium dioxide (VO2) thermochromic material in transparent hotel enclosure and its effect on energy saving, in this study, VO2 material is used as the research object to construct thermochromic window material and stick it on the external surface of the window. The influence of VO2 material on indoor thermal comfort of light buildings in summer under high temperature climate is studied by practical test and numerical simulation. In order to achieve the goal of "low carbon zero energy consumption", this study introduces the function of the embeddable supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) secondary development optimization control module on the overall integration platform of the hotel system. A complete set of "zero energy consumption" monitoring system is added to the total integration platform, and the test of the weak current intelligent control platform is carried out. The results show that with the continuous rise of temperature, VO2 material gradually change from low temperature semiconductor state to high temperature metal state. In addition, the transmittance of sunlight in low temperature semiconductor state is about 80%, while that in high temperature metal state is only 40%. Moreover, the transmittance of high-temperature metallic VO2 material to solar radiation is significantly lower than that of low-temperature semiconductor state, and the absorption rate of solar radiation is significantly higher than that of low-temperature semiconductor state. During the actual test, the average temperature of a single day in July 2019 in X city was about 34.0 °C. Ordinary glass rooms are used as the control group. The temperature in the rooms with VO2 material is about 5 °C lower. BulidingEnergy software can effectively simulate the influence trend of VO2 material on indoor temperature. Finally, this study uses SCADA software to code the control interface that can realize human-computer interaction, and achieve real-time monitoring of various devices in the hotel, which indicates that the use of VO2 material in light buildings in summer can save the energy consumption of refrigeration to a certain extent.
