Abstract

Background: While caffeine use has been shown several notable beneficial effects in preventing several neurological disorders in adults, excessive caffeine consumption, especially during adolescence, has been shown to be harmful. Yet, little is known about the effect of chronic caffeine on behaviors that may be regulated by epigenetic processes.
