Abstract
This article describes the influences of the author’s Adlerian identity by introducing how she became acquainted with Alfred Adler’s work and how she decided to pursue a training in classical Adlerian depth psychotherapy. She includes the people, reading, and experiences that have guided her development as an Adlerian. The author concludes by elaborating on what she perceives as the most valuable features of Individual Psychology—movement, unity of the personality, and an Adlerian spirit.
