Abstract
This study examines adjustment among different age and ethnic groups of Indochinese refugees in the United States. The data came from a nationwide probability sample of 3,414 respondents aged 20 or older. Respondents are divided into four age groups (20-29, 30-39, 40-54, and 55 and older). Ordinary least squares regression analysis revealed that education, occupational status, urban/rural location in the country of origin, English language ability, financial problems, gender, age, and length of residence in the U.S. had statistically significant relationships with adjustment in different age and ethnic groups.
