Abstract

Before applying the technical requirements of anti-corrosion for concrete and reinforced concrete structures in the Vietnam marine environment, the reinforcement was corrosived after about 10 years of use. From this standard was promulgated in 2004 (Vietnam Building standard 327: 2004) and replaced (Vietnam standard 9346: 2012), it solved many technical requirements of anti-corrosion for marine environment constructions. When Applying this standards quality assurance concrete, protected reiforcement and the durability of constructions are extended. However, after 20 years the standard is appied, some technical requirements are not suitable for operation standards as: erosion cavitation in marine environment, concrete grade, maximum allowable crack width, construction and acceptance... Therefore, it is necessary to modify some technical requirements in Vietnam standard 9346: 2012, especially the maximum allowable crack width according to operation standards to apply easy, quality inprovement, technical and economic efficiency when project is used.
