Abstract

The inclusion of adjustments in the fast decoupled load-flow method has not been given proper attention, even though it can have a major effect on the computational efficiency, if not implemented properly. Generalized criteria are presented for including the common adjustments in the fast decoupled load flow method by which the different adjustments can be implemented without significantly affecting the solution efficiency. Test results on several large power systems are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. >
