Abstract

This paper gives the principle of calculating the capacitive coupling current of adjacent AC lines to UHV AC lines. The main factors affecting capacitive coupling current are the proximity distance, parallel length and voltage level of adjacent lines. The geometric parameters, arrangement and conductor specifications of the adjacent AC lines and UHV AC lines are given. Finally, the calculation results of the capacitive coupling current of the adjacent AC line to the UHV AC line are given: the greater close distance between the adjacent AC line and the UHV AC line, the smaller the induced current is; the greater parallel distance of the UHV double-circuit AC line on the same tower, the larger induced current is, and the relationship between them is linear; the greater AC voltage level near the AC line, the larger the induced current. The research results can provide important reference for the study of the influence of capacitive coupling current on adjacent lines and the field test of power frequency parameters of transmission lines.
