Abstract

We consider the shearing adiabatic flow of an incompressible Neutonian fluid with temperature dependent viscosity caused by a time dependent “oscillatory” body force. We show that, as t → ∞ t \to \infty , the flow converges with exponential rate to a rigid “oscillatory” motion at fixed temperature.
