Abstract
AbstractAdiabatic formulae for secular operators and contracted Hamiltonians in an arbirary combination of degenerate or quasidegenerate subspaces are derived. A detailed consideration of the adiabatic limit in the power series is given, and “stability” of proper linear combinations with respect to a transformation produced by the Sα‐matrix is proved.
