Abstract
This is the case of a 14 years old girl with multiple sclerosis (MS) and insufficient coping strategies and non-adherence. After close-meshed medical management, concomitant psychotherapy and a close contact to the MS nurse the young patient with juvenile MS and a problematic familiar background succeeded in getting adherent. Besides residual deficits neurological and MRI follow-ups demonstrate a stabilized course of the disease under interferon β-1b treatment.
