Abstract

Adenylate kinase (AK), adenosine deaminase (ADA) and phosphoglucomutase (PGM) types were deter mined in unrelated Danish adults living in the area of Copen hagen. The gene frequencies were: AK1 = 0.970 and AK2 = 0.030; ADA1 = 0.944 and ADA2 = 0.056; PGM11 = 0.793 and PGM2 = 0.207. The gene frequencies of adenosine deaminase and phosphoglucomutase differed from those in Southern Europe and the adenylate kinase frequencies in the Copenhagen area differed from those in Western Europe.
