Abstract
Cystic adenomyosis is a progressive, severe disease that causes medical resistant dysmenorrhea with a delay in diagnosis [1]. A 52-year-old woman presented to our clinic with a complaint of severe dysmenorrhea, an 8 on the visual analog score of pain, persisting for 1 year. Her previous menstrual cycles were regular and pain-free. There was no response to the oral progesterone therapy that she had for 6 months.
