Abstract

Two species of smut fungi, Sporisorium lingii on Themeda anathera and Urocystis oryzopsidis on Piptatherum microcarpum, are reported for the first time from Pakistan. Both smut fungi were found on new host plants. Chrysopogon serrulatus is recorded from Pakistan as a new host of Anthracocystis chrysopogonis.
