Additional Reference on Polymorphous Dystrophy

Abstract

To the Editor. —In the September 1977 issue of theArchives(95:1529-1537), we published a paper on posterior polymorphous dystrophy. bibliography did not include the excellent work of Dr Merrill Grayson entitled: The Nature of Hereditary Deep Polymorphous Dystrophy of the Cornea: Its Association With Iris and Anterior Chamber Dysgenesis, which appeared in the Transactions of the American Ophthalmological Society (72:516-559, 1974). We apologize for this error, especially since Dr Grayson was so kind as to let us read the manuscript before his work was published. Certainly Dr Grayson's outstanding contribution should be a part of any discussion of posterior polymorphous dystrophy.
