Abstract

Background: Although video-assisted thoracoscopy is widely accepted as the gold-standard approach to treating primary spontaneous pneumothorax, the role of a chemical pleurodesis addition is still under debate. This retrospective study compared the results of pleurodesis with iodopovidone and talc following thoracoscopic bullectomy for spontaneous pneumothorax in a juvenile population.
