•We update the Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Markers in our previous article (Liu et al., [1]) according to the new standard for MSC surface marker identification (Ullah et al., [2]).•This revised Mesenchymal Stem Cell Markers Sets of cell surface markers include CD73, CD29, CD90 and CD105, and unexpressed markers include CD14 and CD31.
