Additional Data in the Reactionπ+p→Σ+K+at 1.28 and1.41 GeVcand a Test of Charge Independence in the c.m. Energy Range 1.820 to 2.090 GeV

Abstract

Data at two additional ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ momenta (1.28 and $1.41 \frac{\mathrm{GeV}}{c}$) in the reaction ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}^{+}{K}^{+}$ are presented. Charge independence is tested over the c.m. energy range 1.820 to 2.090 GeV; we used our data for the ${\ensuremath{\Sigma}}^{+}{K}^{+}$ channel and published data for the ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}p\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\Sigma}}^{0}{K}^{0}$ and ${\ensuremath{\Sigma}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{+}$ channels.
