Abstract
Continuation of the phytochemical studies of the extract of Luo Han Go (Siraitia grosvenorii) furnished two additional known cucurbitane glycosides namely mogroside III A2, and 11-deoxymogroside III. The structures of the two isolated compounds 1-2 were characterized and their complete 1 H and 13 C NMR spectral assignments were made based on COSY, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY spectroscopic data, hydrolysis studies and in comparison with literature data.
