Abstract

Among patients with angina and unobstructed epicardial coronary arteries, assessment of the coronary microcirculation may allow for the detection of subjects with coronary microvascular disease (CMD). Our institution recently established a coronary physiology program, which includes measurement of index of microvascular resistance (IMR) using a wire-based thermodilution technique.
