Abstract
Involvement of the adrenal gland occurs in approximately 10% of the cases with North American blastomycosis. Only 3 previous cases of this disease with clinical evidence of Addison's disease have been reported, although this is not an unusual finding in South American blastomycosis. A fourth case of North American blastomycosis associated with Addison's disease is reported, and the long latent period between the systemic infection and the development of clinical Addison's disease is stressed.
