Adding Hard Real-Time Tasks to Artificial Intelligence Environments

Abstract

In this paper, we present a task model suitable for providing predictability to artificial intelligence tasks, that allows us to incorporate AI techniques in real-time systems guaranteeing their response time. Furthermore, we propose a Real-Time Artificial Intelligence System architecture based on the previous task model and on the blackboard model, which uses the feasibility theory for fixed priority scheduling in order to guarantee the minimum system quality required.
